My students never fail to inspire me. One thing I enjoy about teaching is every class is different. Even if I do the same thing, they are different, they respond in their own unique way. Reader’s Theater is a favorite of mine. This year’s class fell in love with Reader’s Theaters, so much so that they didn’t wait for me to find scripts for them. One student decided to write his own. Once others saw this, they started writing their own. Each student writes their own script, invites classmates to read a part, and initiates practice times. Their biggest problem is finding time for each group to practice together since most students are in multiple plays-not a bad problem to have. 🙂
